The CAL3K has an "ABORT" function. To operate it from the keyboard (give it a try once you have inserted a vessel and closed the lid) type:
![]() ![]() ![]() |
ABORT COMMAND |
This procedure STOPS any operation, and returns the CAL3K to the state after power up. The same would happen if the power was removed and returned. It opens the lid.
If the unit was in the INITIAL Stage then it returns to the PREPARATION stage with the lid open.
If the unit was in the Final Stage (after sample ignition) it will terminate the stage, open the lid, and log a terminated result.
The abort procedure is useful in a situation where you know the result will be wrong and time can be gained by aborting the operation. Of course, the abort operation, as with the power loss and return, is event logged.
