The following information applies to the : CAL3K-AP
The pressure transducer which monitors the vessel pressure for Filling and oxygen leakage needs to be offset adjusted so that it reads ZERO at atmospheric pressure. Although a pressure offset of 0.2 bar makes no difference to the CV determination, it can cause concern during the safety precautions and the power up check.
It is recommended that the pressure reading is checked and set to zero once a month!

READ VESSEL PRESSURE
The ‘READ’ Keyboard commands are ‘non-influential’, they just monitor in real time a particular condition. The Vessel pressure is available and updated regular during the initial and main period. Check how the pressure is increasing during firing. To get out of the ‘dynamic’ display type ESC. A much better pressure graphical presentation is available on the PC screen!

The ‘READ….’ Keyboard commands are ‘non-influential’, they just monitor in real time a particular condition. The firing voltage should be very close to the setting of 25Volts.
Learn MoreSULPHUR CORRECTION
The sulphur correction is required if the sample contains sulphur. In the presence of high pressure oxygen some of the sulphur will be converted to SO2 and some heat will be released in the conversion process. This extra heat release is removed with the sulphur correction. The sulphur correction is proportional to the sample mass and sulphur content. The sulphur correction can be set to zero.
