Benzoic Acid Tablets
Calibration Standard for Bomb Calorimeters
Benzoic acid is the most commonly used chemical standard to determine the heat capacity of a bomb calorimeter.
The tablets are used for calibration and standardization of bomb calorimeter systems and the tablets form a vital part of the bomb calorimeter’s consumables.
They are certified reference materials used to calibrate bomb calorimeters. They provide a known and consistent heat of combustion, allowing laboratories to verify the accuracy of their calorimeter systems.
DDS has transitioned to blister packaging for Benzoic Acid tablets. The previous bottle packaging has been discontinued and replaced with boxed blister strips.
This change has been implemented to enhance product protection and usability in laboratory environments. Blister packaging helps prevent moisture exposure and contamination, ensuring improved tablet integrity and extended shelf life. Additionally, it allows for safer, cleaner, and more convenient handling by operators.
